George L. Martin Incorporated is a professional law corporation
serving clients in the Morongo Basin since 1977

Mr. Martin is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and the University of Montana. He is licensed to practice law in California and Montana. Mr. Martin began practice as a judge advocate in the Marine Corps and was stationed at the Marine Corps base in Twentynine Palms from 1974 to 1977. He is currently a member of the Marine Corps Retired Reserve.

Mr. Martin started his practice in Yucca Valley in 1977 after coming off active duty and has practiced in Yucca Valley since that time. He was a founding member of the Morongo Basin Bar Association and served as the association’s first president. Mr. Martin served as a part time Federal Magistrate Judge for the Central District of Southern California for over 18 years. Mr. Martin has extensive experience in civil and criminal matters and is thoroughly familiar with the local court as a judge pro tem for the last 10 years.

Mr. Martin’s practice is primarily in the area of litigation emphasizing criminal law and significant personal injury matters. The corporation also handles probate matters with a staff with over 20 years experience in that area of law. Mr. Martin is familiar with many local attorneys and has extensive networking contacts from which referrals can be made if appropriate.
